Jason Michael Bloom Sr. of Lynn died on Thursday, October 29, 2026, after living with seizures for 24 years. He was 51.

He was born and raised in Lynn, the son of Cheryl (Veloudis) Bloom and the late Ronald Bloom Sr., and graduated from Lynn English High School in the class of 1993. He and his wife, Cecilia Martinez-Bloom, were married 26 years.

He loved music and followed sports closely. His family remembers a jokester with a sense of humor all his own, and a man who would not step out the door without one of his hats. Above everything he was a family man; his wife, his children and his grandchildren were his world, and he was happiest in their company.

He leaves his wife, Cecilia; his mother, Cheryl; his daughter, Alahnna Bloom Nunez, and her husband, Brian; his son, Jason Michael Bloom Jr.; his grandchildren, Zaylen Nunez and Jayden Nunez; his sister, Tammy McCullough; his brother, Ronald Bloom Jr., and his wife, Rose; his niece and nephews, Jasmine Bloom, Alex Bloom, Anthony McCullough and Nicholas McCullough; and many cousins and aunts.

Visiting hours were held Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street, Route 1A, Lynn.
