Patricia Dolores (Morency) Barror, whose family calls her Beverly’s longest-serving cheerleader, died peacefully on October 26, 2026 in the city she called home. She was 90.

She was born in Beverly on August 9, 1936, grew up in Ryal Side and started cheering at Beverly High School, where she graduated before marrying and starting a family. She had nine children, every one born at Beverly Hospital, and followed them through Little League, Midget Football, Pop Warner and track meets to Hurd Stadium, where she sat on the visitors’ side for the better view of the band, the fans and the sideline. She kept following Beverly sports long after the last graduation and again through her grandchildren. She worked 31 years at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton. Her time to herself meant Lynch Park, a beach chair, a Dunkin’ coffee and the Beverly Times.

She leaves eight children, Scott Barror, Kevin Barror, Patrick Barror and William Barror, all of Beverly, Deborah Larson and her husband Eric of Beverly Farms, Linda White of Rochester, N.H., Shannon Barror and her partner Toby Kitchener of Beverly, and Sean Barror and his wife Annie of Naples, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, to whom she was Gram and Girl-Pat; and many nieces and nephews. Her daughter Kathleen M. Barror, her husband William J. Barror Jr., her brother Roger Morency and her sisters Marilyn Runnals and Janice Kelly died before her. The family thanks the staff at CareOne at Essex Park.

Services are private, with a celebration of life to be announced. Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. The family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
