Cindy Tyler of North Billerica died on November 3, 2026, surrounded by her family, after fighting cancer. She was 55.

She was born in Lynn on June 21, 1971 to Carmin “Toby” D. Tyler and Estelle “Nina” (Zapolski) Tyler, both of whom died before her, and grew up in the city, graduating from Lynn English High School with the Class of 1989.

Nothing mattered more to her than family, and her nephews Benjamin and Lucas and her niece Arya knew her as Auntie, a title she took seriously. She was a sports fan who managed her fantasy football team with care and followed the New England Patriots. Cars were her other passion; she taught herself how engines worked and went to car shows with family and friends whenever she could. On an ordinary night she was happiest at home with her favorite television shows, and when she went out with friends there was usually a dartboard involved.

She leaves her brother Brian Tyler of Tewksbury; her sister Kristin Harris and her husband Michael of Wilmington; Benjamin, Lucas and Arya; and many cousins.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Avenue (Route 62), Wilmington, followed at 7 p.m. by a prayer service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to High Pointe House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.
