Nicole Lynne Salem of Beverly died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18, 2026. She was 53.

She was born in Beverly on July 8, 1973, the daughter of Jean (Spear) Salem and the late Brian Salem, grew up in the city and graduated from Beverly High School in 1991 before studying photography. As a young woman she moved to Hollywood, where family and friends came to visit, and when she returned to Massachusetts she built a career in office and administrative management. For more than 15 years she ran the motorcycle riding program at Cycles 128 in Beverly and organized the dealership’s social events; she also kept the books for her brother’s company, Salem Home Builders. She photographed, rode, loved dogs, spent her best days on the family property in Vermont and put thought into every gift she gave.

Besides her mother, she leaves her brother, Dana Salem of Beverly; her sister, Shawna Salem, and her husband Edy Gomez of Beverly; her niece and nephews, Sofia Gomez, Brian Salem and Daniel Gomez; and her dogs, Suki and Bandit the puggle, who has close to 8,000 Instagram followers.

Services are private. Arrangements are by O’Donnell Cremations, Funerals and Celebrations, 167 Maple Street, Danvers. The family suggests donations to the Cape Ann Veterinary Clinic or the Northeast Animal Shelter.
