Her husband of 48 years, Edwin C. Flashenburg, died before her.

Her son Bruce Flashenburg died before her.

A graveside service is Wednesday, September 30 at 10 a.m. at Agudas Achim Cemetery of Malden, 740 Broadway, Melrose, with shiva that evening at the home of David and Lili Flashenburg and Thursday evening at the home of Lisa Flashenburg.
