Pietro Natale Barberi of Charlestown, formerly of East Boston, died peacefully on October 1, 2026 with his family around him. He was 69.

He was proud of his Sicilian roots and cooked the dishes he grew up on, fished, hunted, gardened, watched the Patriots and sat down to Sunday dinner with his sister Connie whenever he could.
