Patricia A. Bavin of Somerville died peacefully on October 15, 2026.
She was the daughter of the late William and Lucille (Conley) Bavin and the sister of the late Lucille Roby, William Bavin and Elizabeth Bavin. She leaves many nieces and nephews. Her family thanks the staff of the Walnut Street Center and Jackson Road in Somerville for the care they gave her over the past 15 years.
A funeral service is Thursday, October 22 at 11 a.m. at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Somerville, with calling hours from 10 to 11 that morning. She will be buried beside her parents at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. The family suggests donations in Patty’s name to the Walnut Street Center, 291 Mystic Avenue, Medford, MA 02155.
