Michelle E. Neff of Somerville died on Monday, October 26, 2026. She was 52.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Ronald “Ron” and Barbara (Brady) Neff. Her family describes a woman who put others first, who could make anyone laugh, who kept a journal as her private place to think, and who treasured being a grandmother above every other title and managed to make each of four grandchildren believe they were her favorite.
She leaves her son, Jonathan Neff and his wife Candace; her grandchildren, Joseph, Caleb, Khaleesi and Penelope; her brother, Ronnie Neff and his wife Tanya; her niece and nephew, Sheamus and Riley; her longtime partner, Daniel Boudreau; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are Monday, November 9 from noon to 3 p.m. at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square, Somerville, with a prayer service at 2:30. Burial will be later. The family invites everyone afterward to the Dilboy Post, 351 Summer Street, Somerville.
