Mary Regina (Potter) LeBlanc of Danvers died peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family around her. She was 73.
She was the eldest daughter and fifth of the eleven children of William G. and Mary T. (Cruise) Potter, grew up in Danvers and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, Marian Court College and Salem State. She started at Lechmere, spent 25 years at Verizon and 17 at All Care VNA and Hospice, retiring in 2024. She and her husband of 46 years, Mike LeBlanc, cruised, went to Ireland and Martha’s Vineyard, and finally got the winter home in Florida they had dreamed about. She read in the sun with a cup of tea, stayed up for late movies, played cards and board games, gathered the family at “The Cabin” in the White Mountains, and spent every chance she had with her grandsons, from Monopoly and Rummy 500 to their games and their favorite restaurants.
Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Jacqueline, of Danvers, her son Michael and his wife Brenda of Topsfield, and her grandsons, Colin and Ethan. Her ten siblings survive her: Julie Zohn, Adria Lancaster, Judy Potter, Bruce Potter, Suzanne Allison, David Potter, Mark Potter, Shawn Potter, Rick Potter and Bill Potter, with spouses and homes from Boston and Walpole to Danvers, Topsfield, Middleton, Hamilton and Rwanda. She also leaves a cousin, Gratia Milliken; 21 nieces and nephews, among them goddaughters Katherine Catapano, Emily Sands and Tess Lancaster; and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, October 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, with the funeral service there Wednesday, October 21 at 9:30 a.m. The family suggests donations to the Kaplan Family Hospice House through Care Dimensions or to All Care VNA and Hospice.
