Jude Prenelus died on September 22, 2026. He was 47.
He was born in Cambridge on October 8, 1978 to Andre and Marie Lina Prenelus, who died before him, graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin in 1993, and earned associate degrees in accounting and computer science at Bunker Hill Community College. He spent most of his career in accounting for businesses on the South Shore. Outside work he traveled, went to concerts and Comic Con, hunted new restaurants, cooked from many cuisines, played fantasy football, collected sneakers, wrote poetry, and rapped and produced for other artists as “Broken Klutch.” He was the family’s IT consultant, cat sitter and, by his own account, the fun uncle.
He leaves his brothers, Evens, Frantz and Chedly; his nephews, N’nhare, Brandon and James; his niece, Maya; and his godson.
Calling hours are Saturday, October 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square, Somerville, with a prayer service at 11. Burial at Cambridge Cemetery is private.
